About Joe Goldian
I’m a full time real estate agent with RE/MAX Pros in Westlake, Ohio. I was born and raised in Cleveland and I’ve lived here pretty much my entire life. As a child I grew up in Aurora. Well, technically it was Reminderville, but we’ll just call it Aurora. I graduated from Ohio University in 1997 with a Bachelor’s degree in management information systems. After graduation I moved to Lakewood, Ohio and rented a double for several years. I held technology jobs with large companies such as Key Bank and General Electric as well as a couple small consulting firms during my previous career. Sitting in a cubicle for 8 hours a day just wasn’t my thing though. I jumped into real estate in 1999 when I bought my first double in Lakewood and I fell in love with the business immediately. I continued to buy a few more doubles of the years and eventually got my real estate license in 2003. My technology background has turned out to be a huge asset for my real estate business as it is a necessity these days to be an effective Realtor. At least it is in my opinion. I’ve been working full time with RE/MAX Pros since April of 2005. I currently live in Avon, Ohio with my wife Kristen and my son Jack.
About This Site
I’ve been running ClevelandHousehunt.com for several years, but recently totally revamped the design. I did this for a couple reasons. The obvious answer is I’d like to attract more clients with the web site. I often check out the web sites of other agents around Cleveland and the rest of the country. Just about every agent site that I look at around here is a boring cookie cutter/template site. I feel like I’ve seen them 100 times. They’re stiff sites and have no personality and little valuable information. For the most part real estate agent sites center around the agents themselves. They love to talk about the awards they’ve one or the certifications they hold. Don’t get me wrong, there are some really good agent sites out there, I just think they’re few and far between. I wanted to develop a site that hopefully stands out and that people might actually find useful and relevant. You aren’t going to see my mug shot plastered all of the site (except on this page!) and there isn’t going to be a lot of “me, me, me” talk patting myself on the back.
